It was my pleasure to appoint you a Colonel on my Staff, and your commission has gone forward to you.  I am further pleased to hand you herewith wallet size ident card of your Colonelship.

We hope you will visit with us here at the State Capitol at some time in the future, and that you will let us hear from you from time to time, giving us your valued opinions and views on matters of State, or on matters of immediate importance to you.
